Marchio 4sustainability con pay off

COM.I.STRA srl is a leading company in the sector of raw materials, yarns and woolen fabrics for clothing, and furnishing.
Thanks to its centennial experience in the textile district of Prato, to the continuous investments in new technologies, to the high professionalism of its staff, Comistra has registered a constant growth trend despite the alternating phases of expansion/recession of the textile industry.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Growth and sustainability are what we want to support, in the conviction that ethics and profit cannot be at odds, as there can be no economic development separate from social and environmental development. We are constantly looking for partnerships with companies that share the same values of caring for the environment and people, with a focus on innovation. In particular, we give priority to partner companies in the district, in order to minimise the environmental impact of moving materials along the production cycle.

4SUSTAINABILITY® COMMITMENT

Growth and sustainability are the factors for which we want to stand out, founding our strategy on the belief that ethical approach should characterize our business model. We firmly believe there cannot be a long-term economic development without a social and environmental development.
Inspired to and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda (SDGs), we’re committed to contributing to the generation of global positive change, assuming a clear environmental and social responsibility.
We do it concretely by joining the 4sustainability® roadmap, making the values and action programs it embodies our own, committing ourselves to starting a virtuous change journey in our business model, through one or more initiatives that we tell in this e-report.
