2021 EDITION

The pandemic has challenged all of us, but on sustainability it has also acted as an accelerator, making it the first driver of a new Renaissance of the supply chain.

What do data tell us about it? This year’s 4sustainability Event focuses on one of the distinguishing factors of the 4s mark and therefore precisely on data, those performance indicators that are also the key element of our approach to sustainability.

The picture they give us rewards the most visionary supply chain of “prime numbers”, meaning the companies that have seen sustainability as a competitive factor and have made it their own, committing to building a business model capable of integrating the needs of present with the protection of our future.

The continuing pandemic does not allow us to return to the entirely in-person format that made our annual event a success, with the numbers we were used to (> 300). A completely virtual format, on the other hand, would sacrifice those components of entertainment and networking that have always been the added value of our events.
So, why not split the 2021 edition into two acts, dedicating the first one, via web, to analysis and debate and organizing a  in-person meeting next June 2021 in Florence to look into each other’s eyes again, to strengthen old relationships and build new ones? The answer is the format in two acts of the ninth edition, which interprets the hybrid mode in an unusual way trying to overcome its limits.

LET'S WORK ...Act one, December 2021

An agile three-hour program to present and analyze the performance data of the fashion supply chain. The study takes into consideration a representative sample of 100 companies that are pursuing the transformation of their business model through the 4sustainability framework.
This first part of the scenario will be followed by a debate between six prestigious international guests, each testimonial of one of the initiatives in which the framework is structured: Materials, Chem, Cycle, Trace, People, Planet.
Conclusions will include a works synthesis and an overview of the challenges that fashion brands and companies are called to face in the short-medium term.

... AND HAVE FUN!Act two, June 2022

The second act is an opportunity to meet: we will start from the December conference and anticipate the themes of the 2022 edition, making networking and the concomitance with Pitti a celebration moment.
The invitation is open to speakers and companies in the supply chain involved in the first act, with the right of pre-emption for those who have actually followed the conference remotely.
The second act doesn’t include a real agenda, but an opening speech and six networking tables each dedicated to an initiative of the 4sustainability system in continuity with the first act. Each table will be chaired by an entrepreneur or manager engaged with his/her company in the implementation of that initiative, as well as by a member of the Process Factory team.

MAIN SPONSORS. OR BETTER YET, SUPPORTERS!

Free participation in the 4sustainability Event is an opportunity that Process Factory organization has always been committed to supporting, despite the charges have grown over time together with the appointment’s importance. If this continues to be possible today, we owe it to companies that, by embracing the founding principles of 4sustainability, reinterpret the idea of sponsorship as a structured and ongoing support.
