Lineapiù Italia was founded in 1975 at Capalle, near Florence. Under the leadership of Alessandro Bastagli since 2010,
thanks to its creative content and the quality of the collections – guaranteed by a true calling for research and innovation,
Lineapiù Italia is now the world leader in the field of yarns for the knitwear industry.
Italian excellence: a history, a working method, and creative and manufacturing abilities that have changed knitwear in Italy and across the world. A completely integrated, fully in-house production system for yarn that is 100% Made in Italy and presents three different collections each season: Lineapiù, fantasy and classical yarns with high fashion content; Filclass, for young knitwear; Lineapiù Knit Art yarns for hand-knitting.
Lineapiù has revolutionized the history of knitwear starting from the development of the first 100% viscose yarn.
Then it created Relax, a carbon-core yarn to protect against electromagnetic pollution, followed by “Filo d’aria” (air yarn)
and innovative yarns such as the light-sensitive Lumen and Paper Knit – the yarn made of … paper!
