mapping, engagement and monitoring for transparency
CHAIN 4sustainability® aims to ensure effective management of environmental and social impacts across internal processes and the supply chain through structured assessment, traceability, monitoring and improvement activities. The goal is to implement a controlled and responsible supply chain management system, achievable only through high and shared levels of transparency.
requirements: focus on supply chain risks
engaging the supply chain, also through digital systems (Ympact)
assessing the supply chain and identifying the most relevant risk areas
identify possible programmes for the mitigation of risks
identifying potential risk mitigation plans
defining a supply chain monitoring procedure
supplier performance rating and reporting
Building a robust and credible supply chain monitoring system starts with the adoption of the 4sustainability Supply Chain Values Charter (or Code of Conduct) and continues with supplier engagement, data collection, audits and monitoring — covering both suppliers and internal processes.
Collected and processed data generate supplier sustainability ratings, enabling the activation of improvement plans and the production of periodic supply chain reports that clearly highlight and guide environmental and social risk management pathways.
