These are the accredited Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemical courses available on the ZDHC Platform. There are four types of session that Process Factory is capable of organising thanks to its unique experience in the classroom and the field. The duration and format of each session depends on the way in which it is administered: 4 or 8 hours in a single day for classroom-based sessions, 2-and-a-half-hour slots spread over three consecutive days for remote sessions.

Introduction to Chemical Management

Basic course

Structured to respond to the specific nature of the Italian supply chain, the course provides basic knowledge regarding MRSL and chemical risk assessment, process mapping and communication between parts of the supply chain, chemical inventory, measuring of the mitigation of environmental impact, the role of the chemical manager, etc.

Introduction to Chemical Management for Leather Tanneries

Basic course

The course programme and aims are the same as those for the textile supply chain. The difference is in the sector examined, and the team of instructors will adapt the didactics and above all interaction with the participants to its specific nature and requirements, presenting practical examples and highlighting issues and implications that are typical of the leather supply chain.

Top 10 Issues & Best practices

Basic course

The aim of the course is to identify possible criticalities in the implementation of a chemical management system and the most suitable solutions for overcoming the operational challenges within the organisation, and qualify the company system for the management of chemical substances in the production process.

Wastewater Management

Advanced course

At the end of the course, the participants will have a complete overview of the ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines, the requirements for water sampling and analysis and the technology available for water treatment. The main objective is to provide the necessary knowledge for the management of nonconformity once the source of the problem has been identified.

ZDHC CMS TIG

Advanced course

The CMS TIG (Chemical Management System Technical Industry Guide) course was created to deepen the methodology and tools developed over time by ZDHC and implemented by the Chem 4sustainability protocol. The aim of the course is to provide participants with the know-how necessary to build a chemical management system in line with the ZDHC methodology, use the tools made available by ZDHC and understand the Supplier to Zero Program up to the Aspirational level.
